Don't get duped, be skeptical and ask smart questions When my children were young, my wife Ulla and I would often take them on journeys to visit museums, zoos and parks around the state. We also took them to St. Louis, Dayton, Cincinnati and Chicago. Whenever we took a vacation to Florida, Washington, D.C., or South Carolina, we loaded the kids into the car and made it into a road trip. I doubt there was ever a family that spent more time together in a car.

Councilman blows smoke over property rights I would like to offer a rebuttal to the statements made by Mr. Ryan Cummins regarding smoking in the workplace in the Tuesday, Dec. 20, newspaper. I would like to think that I have a descent perspective on this issue, since I am not only a family physician in Terre Haute, but also have served proudly on the Vigo County Board of Health for the last two and a half years.
Flashpoint: Public's health at stake in smoking ban debate Flashpoint: Stray-animal problem worthy of more media attention Science rejects the notion of God Believe what you want, but let science do its job The origins of life debate: Science and sacred each deserve their place among us The origins of life debate: Evolution is science, but creation is still religion
